This month we’ve been talking about creativity, innovation and passion in the workplace. These three traits are very important in the people we choose to hire at fresh&easy.
We’ve already shared some tips on demonstrating your creativity and passion during the job interview process. Today, we’re sharing some online resources and quotes that we hope will help inspire your passions and feed your creative side.

Online resources:

1. Inc.com – An online magazine for entrepreneurs, this site regularly features articles on positive thinking, motivation and creativity.

2. Mashable.com – This popular site offers some great career and business advice, as well as lifestyle, tech and social media topics.

3. Forbes.com – Best known for its lists of the richest and the biggest, Forbes also includes thoughtful, well written articles on a variety of business and career topics from top experts.

4. TED.com – TED is all about “ideas worth spreading”. If you’ve never viewed a TED talk, prepare to be inspired. The site features hundreds of video talks from thought leaders and innovators.

5. Mindtools.com – A comprehensive group of resources to help you learn new career skills online.

6. Careerealism.com – This site contains a wealth of articles and resources specifically for job searching and career management.

7. Brainyquote.com – Brainyquote contains a vast collection of quotes that can be selected by topic, such as inspiration or motivation, or by the quote’s author. You can find quotes from thought leaders who accomplished great things through innovation and passion, such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Albert Einstein, Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and more.

8. Quotegarden.com – Another large selection of quotes with categories for just about any subject or occasion you could imagine.

9. Goodreads.com – This site for book lovers features a section of quotes from notable authors. You’ll find a more extensive selection of quotes from creative and influential writers such as Mark Twain, C.S. Lewis, Robert Frost, and J.K. Rowling. This site also includes memorable quotes not only from the authors, but also from the books themselves.

10. Creativity in Business – Not a site, per se, but a link to an excellent article by Michael L. Ray Ph.D. on developing creativity to solve problems in the workplace.
