The Kitchen Table Coordinator educates customers about fresh&easy products by offering samples from the kitchen sampling station and ensures a great shopping experience. No. Our stores have self-checkout stations. Our Customer Assistants have many responsibilities, which include assisting customers at self-checkout.
Team Leaders must be at least 19 years old in Arizona and 21 years old in California and Nevada. Customer Assistants must be 21 years old in Nevada, 19 years old in Arizona and 18 years old in California. Kitchen Table Coordinators must be at least 18 years old in Arizona, Nevada, and California.
Yes. Typically, Team Leader positions are full time (a 40 hour work week) while Customer Assistants and Kitchen Table Coordinators are part time, working a minimum of 20 hours per week. That said, scheduled hours may increase or decrease depending upon business needs and all positions may be assigned to a rotating shift, which includes working weekends.

Possibly. When we schedule you for an interview, we’ll email you an Availability Form. Please complete it and bring it with you to your interview. The Store Manager will use your availability to determine whether your schedule is compatible with store needs. Your availability should be discussed at the time of the interview.
If you are hired to work in an existing store, you will train in the store where you will be working. If you are hired to work in a new store, you may be asked to attend training at a different location.
Check online to see the job openings by store. Also, if you live near the new store location, look for a “Now Hiring” banner or sign at the store to get more information.
APPLYING
We are sensitive to our impact on the environment and we strive to be a paperless company, therefore all job applications must be submitted online.

It could take up to four weeks for us to process your application and respond. Unfortunately, due to the high number of applications we receive, we are unable to contact every applicant personally or take inquiries about the status of your application.

We have a business casual work environment. While there’s no need to wear a suit, you should look professional, neat, and pulled together.
Bring the following to your interview:
Completed Disclosure Form (sent to you in email)
Completed Applicant Availability Form (sent to you in email)
Your updated résumé
A current photo ID
Please be on time or early for your interview.
Background checks are required of all employees and it may take anywhere from one day to two weeks depending on several factors. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of this requirement. In addition, candidates will need to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
Drug screenings are mandatory for those working in our stores and distribution center. The hiring manager will discuss the process in your interview.
Please contact the recruiter or reply via email, at least 48 hours before your scheduled interview.
It is advisable to keep the interview that was the first to be arranged, but please inform the store manager and the recruiter that you are interested in another location/position as well.
The Disclosure Form is in a PDF format, which means you cannot type your information into the document. You will have to print it out and fill it out by hand before your interview. Your local public library, local Employment Development Department office and FedEx Office stores have public printers.
If for any reason you are not able to open the form on any computer, let the store manager know when you go in for the interview and request a hard copy.
We do not request the credit score as a part of the background check, and they will not review or consider your score.

You will receive notification via email or a phone call from the hiring manager or recruiter anywhere from 24 hours to two weeks after your interview. If you haven’t heard back from us, you may contact careers@freshandeasy.com, but please allow for a two-week response time.
Internship Program
Positions are continuously posted in concurrence with university school schedules and based upon business need. However, our main recruiting window for full-time summer internships begins with posting positions in February, and conducting interviews in March and April.
If you apply for a position on fresh&easy’s website, you will receive an on-screen confirmation after your resume has been successfully submitted. However, due to the large volume of applications we receive for each position, we are able to contact only those applicants whose skills and qualifications most closely match the requirements for the internship position.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age, currently enrolled or have recently graduated from an accredited university, and candidates must also be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States. Unfortunately, we do not offer internships for high school students. Additional requirements may vary for each posting. Some internships may require a minimum GPA, grade level completed, and/or previous experience. Please reference each individual positing for specific requirements prior to applying.
The typical selection process looks like this:
- Recruiter conducts phone interview with candidate
- Recruiter submits resume for review to Hiring Manager
- Selected candidates are asked to come in for an on-site interview, and more than one round of interviews may be held
- Successful candidates undergo a criminal and education background check
- Candidates who pass background check will be extended an offer for the intern position
- Candidates are expected to sign and return offer letters upon receipt
- New interns will begin work and attend orientation on the start date listed in the offer letter
- New interns will spend the first week getting a general introduction to the business (company overall) and their departments
- All interns have a manager who will be providing on-going feedback throughout the internship
Yes all internship positions are paid.
Internships are temporary positions with no guarantee of regular full-time employment upon completion of the program.
We currently do not offer relocation/housing assistance and we strongly encourage students to research housing opportunities in advance.

We are looking for candidates who are passionate about food and excited to work for fresh&easy. We understand that candidates may not have any previous work experience. We are looking for recent grads and graduating seniors who have transferable skills and an eagerness to learn.
