How did you get started at fresh&easy?
I started at Fresh & Easy as an intern in the summer of 2011.

What does a day in the life of a HR Analyst look like?
Meetings, meetings, projects, & more meetings! At campus, I conduct focus groups, coordinate communication via newsletters and huddle messages, all while supporting other business needs. I also have the opportunities to work on various projects that enable the Campus and Distribution Center HR teams to be more strategic business partners.

What do you think is the most challenging aspect of your job?
The most challenging aspect of my job is using the creative side of my brain. I am required to analyze things that are taking place in the different business units and, from that analysis, have to create goals that are specific, measureable, realistic, and timely to each site.

Why do you love working at fresh&easy?
I love working at Fresh & Easy because of the challenges that I am presented with. This company definitely stretches me outside of my comfort zone with their many opportunities to grow, but I gladly accept it because I always feel supported.

Getting Fresh:

• What fresh&easy foods do you crave?
Salmon Teriyaki

• When you’re not at work, where can we find you?
Traveling to Vegas, spending time with family & friends, or at church depending on the day ☺

• What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
My final class in grad school was in Costa Rica—I got to zip line over a rainforest at over 600 feet high and over 20 mph.

• What’s on your iPod or DVR?
Single Ladies, 30 Rock, Hannah Montana, Ben Harper

• What’s an interesting or little known fact about you?
I’m ambidextrous—I was always paranoid as a child that I would break my right hand and foot and wouldn’t be able to write or drive if I needed to.
